Manson’s Greatest Hits
On this day, in 1969, The Manson Family lead by Charles Manson killed 5 people in the home of director Roman Polanski. Polanski’s pregnant wife Sharon Tate was one of those five, as she was stabbed to death and the baby cut from the womb. The Manson Family killed two more people, Leno and Rosemary LaBianca, two days later.
After being caught by the police and sent to trail, in 1971, Manson was convicted and given the death penalty. Years later the death penalty was abolished and 72 year Manson still remains in jail.
One thing is for sure. No matter what you think on the man, he give a great interview. He sometimes comes across as an intelligent man, who maybe is just misunderstood. Most of the time however, he come across and strange, manipulating, and even dangerous. Here are some clips of Manson in action.
This first clip is just a classic case of Charlie being Charlie, funny stuff.
This is taken from his 1992 parole hearing. Manson is eligible for parole every 7 years, but has stopped attending the meetings.
This is Charlie being interviewed about a book written by a fellow inmate on Charlie and the murders.
This was taken from “A Current Affair”, hosted by a young Maury Povich.
Charles Manson may be a crazy killer, but man is he funny.

Eric, you like Charles Manson a bit too much.
Eric, go outside and get some fresh air. You’re scaring me…and the children.
