On this day, in 1969, The Manson Family lead by Charles Manson killed 5 people in the home of director Roman PolanskiPolanski’s pregnant wife Sharon Tate was one of those five, as she was stabbed to death and the baby cut from the womb.  The Manson Family killed two more people, Leno and Rosemary LaBianca, two days later.

After being caught by the police and sent to trail, in 1971, Manson was convicted and given the death penalty.  Years later the death penalty was abolished and 72 year Manson still remains in jail.

One thing is for sure.  No matter what you think on the man, he give a great interview.  He sometimes comes across as an intelligent man, who maybe is just misunderstood.  Most of the time however, he come across and strange, manipulating, and even dangerous.  Here are some clips of Manson in action.

This first clip is just a classic case of Charlie being Charlie, funny stuff.
