Destruction Of Politics Will Be Televised
We all remember the “Dean Scream” from the 2004 Democratic convention. We also remember the “Swift-boat” scandal of the 2004 Presidential race. We may also be old enough to remember the cruel jokes and marginalization of a jug-eared independent nominee in 1992.
All of these and more have something in common. Each person involved - Howard Dean, John Kerry, and Ross Perot - had their pursuit of the White House irreparably destroyed by the media. In each case, these nominees made just enough noise to make themselves known before they were torpedoed by Big Media and their pre-determined winners.
Now the same thing is happening to arguably the best story on either side of the political spectrum during this election year. Only this time, one of the big boys is owning up to it.
From the beginning, Ron Paul has been portrayed in the media as some sort of insane, screeching sociopath - if at all. More often than not, Paul has been ignored completely during most of the summer, even when he is standing on a platform during a debate.
Of course, 4.2 million dollars later, and the media is forced to take notice.
After Ron Paul’s campaign received over four million on Monday, there was initially silence from the major news networks. Then, CNN managed to sneak it under five stories about Hillary Clinton on their main page. FOX News grudgingly and swiftly mentioned it in their newscast. In response to this blackout, Ron Paul fans flooded their sites with demands for more attention.
Now, CNN has given the Paul campaign its due.
CNN ran a story today which examined the blatant media bias that continues to plague Paul’s movement. While CNN has undoubtedly been a big part of that bias, it’s nice to see that they have the stones to admit their mistake and correct it ever so slightly.
Hopefully it will boost the next money bomb set for December 16th - the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party. Suckers!!!!
Here’s the video of their analysis:

The sad thing is the only people who still admit to being Republicans are the hard-core bloodthirsty religious right. Paul is never going to make any headway with them.
Isn’t it weird to say “bloodthirsty religious right?” Shouldn’t they be the ones who are the least bloodthirsty??
Paul is a very religious man, and many of his views are Republican and conservative: he’s pro-life, pro-gun, pro-religious freedom. I cannot believe that his anti-war rhetoric would blind them to these facts.
The sad reality of the matter is that these news network are able to sway people opinions. They will make who ever they’re in bad with look good and trash everybody else.
Sadly the media and their false reporting and exaggeration of the truth is the biggest factor in elections these days.
The one thing that kills me most about media coverage of politics is their report of “who’s winning” or “who’s leading” in the elections?
Huh?! Isn’t there an “election day” or “primary election days” in which winners and representatives are selected by the public? Since when are there ongoing standings?! Clinton is leading Obama… Yeah, based on a network-owned poll that usually lacks statistical significance.
If your candidate is “losing” this election, screw the polls and reports. Get your ass out there and vote for the guy or woman of your choice. The U.S. is a country of people wanting to be part of the winning team — you tell enough weak-minded idiots that a candidate is “winning” and when the rubber meets the road, if they’re undecided, they’re voting for the assumed leader in the standings.
And how could I not mention the reports of which candidates are leading in the money-making? (Ron Paul’s story is too grassroots to be included in this slam). NBC is a particular culprit. Why not just give the office to the lying schmuck who makes the most money?
