How Does This Shit Keep Happening
What the hell is wrong with people. The world must be coming to an end soon. Can somebody please explain this to me.
Lazy-ass rapper Jay-Z now has as many #1 albums as Elvis Presley, with 10. The Beatles are the only ones who have more #1 albums (19) in the history of music than Jay Fucking Z. Jigga’s new album, American Gangster, which is inspired by the new Denzel Washington/Rusell Crowe movie landed at #1 this week. I know people are stupid, but I didn’t realize it was this bad. Jay-Z is one of the laziest, most unoriginal rappers ever. This music is boring, except for whatever cute little recognizable sample he throws in.
Since 1998, everything he has released has went to #1, unfucking believable. Here are two of his new songs. This shit is terrible. It’s so Goddamn boring that I would rather stab my testicles with little pieces of glass than listen to this shit for an hour.
Anyway here they are. Am I missing something here?

Unfortunately, this guy managed to get in all of these songs before he music industry crashed … and so he got undeservedly rich.

Yeah he’s a shitty rapper, he’s rich and he getting to bang Beyonce. I hate this guy.
Lazy is the perfect word Eric. Each of these songs sound like just introductions to songs. I was sitting there waiting for him to cut to some real rapping, but it never happened!!!
The samples are what get the kids.

@ Sir Jorge - You’re right that is what sells. The problem is, I don’t understand why.
