Insanity!

“Dad, can we go see Hanna Montana in concert. Please, please, please, I’ll do anything.”

“Do you promise not to tell anyone that I was hiding in the closet with my pants around my ankles at your last slumber party.”

“Okay, I promise.”

“Good.  Then we can go.”

Stories such as this can be the only reasonable explanation for parents cashing  out their kids college savings for  tickets to see a fictional singer in real life.  Reports like these are flooding news stations all over the country.

A report from Indianapolis says that a mother paid $13,000 for four tickets to the television stars concert.  The woman’s winning bid for the auction, held by The Bob and Tom Show, gets her backstage passes, dinner, a limo to the show, and a donation to the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital.

You may say, “Oh, if a portion is going to charity then what is the problem?”  And I will tell you to get you fucking head examined.  If more than three dollars goes to those kids I will suck my own balls.  $12,997 are therefore going to Disney, so they can mindfuck more kids into thinking this show, and shit like High School Musical, is cool.

To the parents who are doing this . . . I can’t wait until you die, and your kids use the $12 dollar inheritance you left them to purchase a Zach Efron poster rather than using for something useful, like a lobotomy.

If your kids want to see Hanna Montana so bad then tell them to turn on the Goddamn T.V.!

By the way, for those not familiar, this is how great Hanna is. Take a look.

Jesus Fucking Christ!

I don’t, for the life of me understand this. People are going crazy for these tickets. When she was in St. Louis (the first show of her tour, I beleive) it sold out a 20,000 seat venue in minutes.

There was a lady on the news that payed $2,000 a ticket so that her daughter could go to the show. Their is no way in hell that I would ever pay that much to see any concert.

These people just need to learn how to tell their kids no. These parents should be shot.

    Great post Chris.

I just don’t understand this. I would tell my kid to go get fucked if they asked me to go.

My sister paid almost $100 a ticket to take her kids to the show, and that’s still way too much … I mean, did you see how fucking BAD that shit is?????

If I was dying, and the cure was listening to one three-and-a-half minute Hannah Montana song, I would get my affairs in order. The only reason to go to her concert is to get a better shot at her with a rifle.

I truly just feel like giving up on the human race entirely.
