Bonna Rumors
Rumors of acts for next year’s Bonnaroo Festival have officially started and I’m not sure the hippies are going to like it. Bonnaroo is considered the largest hippy festival in the world and it takes place every year in Manchester, Tennessee in the month of June.
The festival is like hippy heaven with tents and marijuana smoke clouds everywhere. Hippies walk around naked in a drug induced stupor listening to their favorite jam bands. It’s a perfect weekend for them. There are plenty of drugs, hairy naked bodies, tye-died shirts and 45 minute guitar solos. It’s like a modern day Woodstock.
The promoters of the show, though are trying to sell the broke ass hippies down the river. The promoters are trying to bring in a bigger variety of people for the festival, ones who use money for currency, and not just trying to walk around bartering for things. After all, they they can’t pay the bands with old sweaty torn up bandanas and hemp blankets.
This year, for the second year in a row, they have decided to add bands that are a little more than stoner jam bands and folk music. This year Scott Goldberg of the Digital Media Wire is reporting that both Led Zeppelin and Metallica have been confirmed for this years festival.
This isn’t good news for anybody. The hippies don’t care to see Led Zeppelin and they hate heavy metal. Metallica will just make their head hurt. The fans of these bands are also not going to want to spend three days camping, listening to a bunch of shitty jam bands just to see Zeppelin and Metallica. The ones that think it’s worth all that headache will never be able to get anywhere near the stage with all the passed out naked hippies laying all over the ground.
This may sound like a great idea at first, but I think it’s a dumb idea and it will be best if this rumor isn’t true.

Agreed. While Led Zeppelin would possibly fit in with that crowd, Metallica is absolutely wrong for it. That festival needs diverse jam bands - and Metallica has never “jammed” … EVER. Even in their credible early days, everything they ever did was timed down to the very last bar on the sheetmusic. A Metallica concert - then and now - is a machined event, without even the slightest whiff of improvisation.
And then when you add in their lack of balls and their bitchiness … they are simply wrong for this.
just so you know led zepplin will not be there it is lez zepplin which is an alll female cover band for led zepplin. ( and there some what ok)

Oh and get your facts right. The rumor (confirmed) was LEZ not LED.
Also Glastonbury is aconsidered the largest Hippy festival, not ROO (it has close to 200,000 attendees
First off douche bag. This story was written 5 months ago. At that time Led Zeppelin was rumored to play, not the lesbian band. If you had followed the links, you would have seen that other people were reporting this.
