Lost Season 4

For those of you who are fans of Lost, and if you not you’re an idiot, the official season 4 trailer has been released.  Take a look.

It is intriguing for several reasons.  This number “6″ that has appeared in a couple of the promos so far.  6 is not one of the original “numbers” that has been so notorious in the first few seasons.  We know, from The Lost Experience, that the point of the project was to change any one of the values of the numbers in the Valenzetti Equation in order to stave of the inevitable end of the world.  Perhaps this has been done with the emphasis on the number 6.

Second is the appearance of Charlie at the very end and looking very pissed off.  We watched him die in the season 3 finale.  So I doubt he is alive.  Perhaps he will be appearing in a flashback.

Lastly what caught my attention is the script that sets up the trailer.  ”On September 24, 2004, Oceanic flight 815 Crashed, February 2008 Rescue arrives, or has it.”  Forget the “or has it” because there will certainly be a twist to who is actually on “not Penny’s boat.”  What seems strange to me is the use of a rescue date.  According to the show after three seasons they have only been on the island a few months.   I know that this is the same time in which season 4 is premiering, but it is very unLost like to show two dates side by side like that without there being something to it.  Also the premier is January 31, 2008 not February.  Could the producers be implying that time has shifted on the island?  For some time duel timelines has been a theory of many, myself included, as a theory to what is actually going on.  Could this be proof?

Lastly, as I gave mention the start of season 4 is January 31, yes it is a Thursday.  Lost has officially switched from Wednesday to Thursday, but gone back to its original 9:00 eastern timeslot.  This according to thetailsection.com

That’s interesting. I’m really not sure what to think about the trailer. I have to agree with you about the dates.

The producers have always been very careful with the way things are shown. So, either they are getting sloppy or there just might be something to the parallel time theory.

As for Charlie, if there are parallel times maybe he’s not dead in one of them.

This season is going to be pretty interesting.

Perhaps in February they open a Slusho stand on the island, but it only has six flavors - and this pisses Charlie off.

So he gets into “not Penny’s boat” and sails away for the nearest Starbucks in downtown New York. There he meets that Alias chick, who has been tracking the secret experiments on the island. But just as she is about to reveal the secret, a giant monster attacks and rips the head off of the Statue of Liberty and destroys the city.

WOW, Abrams … you blow me away.

Nice that you let one bad marketing campaign ruin your whole taste on someone. Abrams is not really involved in this show anymore.
