Politics, Religion, and Logic Don’t Mix
Would you want your kids anywhere near Mike Huckabee during Christmas? If Ron Paul has his way, then your kids - and the rest of us - will be safe from the continued sermonizing of American politics.
Huckabee has created a Christmas ad of such transparent, treacly sentiment that it makes It’s A Wonderful Life look like a subtle treatise on Marxism. Notice the hideously huge window pane / cross of Jesus floating ominously in the background like a Nazi swastika as Huckabee oozes his particular brand of creepiness.
I don’t want whatever this Santa has in his bag!
Inevitably, FOX News decided to run the message of this ad by everyone’s favorite loose cannon, Ron Paul. Paul quickly ripped off a zinger that might reverberate unfavorably among the party in which he is (currently) running.
Of course, the neo-cons - a lovely, logical bunch - have called for the head of Paul on the business end of a missile for “defaming” a wonderful, heartfelt Christmas message from Huckabee.
What do you guys think? Was Paul being too hard on the guy, or is he calling it right?

Amen, brother. He’s exactly right. I just love the way this guy always speaks his mind without worrying about who he offends. He may be the only truly honest candidate out there.
Paul called him out exactly as he should have. Huckabee is freakin creepy.
