The Cavalera Conspiracy
Brothers and former members of heavy metal band Sepultura have made amends and are back with a new band.
Current Soulfly vocalist Max Cavalera and his brother Igor Cavalera have reunited and have formed The Cavalera Conspiracy. The brothers have not played together since the late 90’s, after Max left Sepultura to form Soulfly. Max who left on his own, felt betrayed by his brother after Igor and the other members of the Sepultura decide to fire their manager who just happened to be Max’s wife.
The brothers will be joined by guitarist Marc Rizzo (Soulfly) and bassist Joe Duplantier (Gojira). The only question that remains, is the direction of the band’s sound. Will this just be another tribal metal album, like Soulfly or will the band have more of a speed/thrash sound similar to old Sepulura, or something different all together.
The band’s album, Inflikted is due out on March 25 and no matter what the style they go with it should kick ass. Here is what these guys are capable of.
