northernkings.jpgHave you ever wondered what some of your favorite 80’s pop songs would sound like if they were metal songs?  Well, wonder no more.

The Finnish symphonic metal band, Northern Kings (which is made up of four popular Finnish metal musicians) released their debut album, Reborn last October.  The album features all cover songs, mostly of 80’s pop.  The songs are giving a symphonic metal make over and some sound like complete new songs.  The track list for the album is as follows.

1. Don’t Stop Believing (Journey)

2. We Don’t Need Another Hero (Tina Turner)
