An Epic Tale Of Sodomy
Long before Peter Jackson made King Kong or the Lord Of The Rings trilogy, he created another Epic tale. A tale of sodomy.
In 1989, Peter Jackson wrote directed and produced a black comedy with puppets. Meet The Feebles was like the anti-muppet movie. This wasn’t a positive tale of misguided muppets with a love story buried underneath. The Feebles were a group of stage performers that liked violence, sex, cursing, doing drug, raping and sodomy.
I think with Jackson’s recent success, he might want this to stay forgotten. If that’s the case though, he shouldn’t have ever made it. The movie is actually ahead of it’s time. It was just a precursor for years later and shows like South Park, Family Guy, and Wonder Showzen. Here’s the original trailer followed by The Sodomy Song performance in the movie.
