Heath’s Drug Party
A two year old video of Heath Ledger at a Hollywood party, in which drugs were being used, has emerged. Entertainment Tonight and The Insider won’t show you the video, so here it is for you to see.
In the video Ledger is not shown using drugs, but he does admit to smoking weed. It has been stated that Ledger had a drug problem, so that’s not the story here. The story here is that the shows Entertainment Tonight and The Insider are not going to show the video, after each show promoted the videos for their shows. The shows are claiming not to show it out of respect for his family, which is odd because they have never cared about anybodies feeling in the past.
ET have exploited Britney Spears, Anna Nicole Smith and every other celebrity that does something stupid. The show has never shown a conscious and hasn’t cared about what running a story may do to a person’s reputation or the effect it has on their family. They have always been ruthless and unforgiving in there exploitations just to get ratings. So what’s has made them have a conscious this time?
It may be that the Public Relations law firm that represented Ledger has threaten the shows. The firm represents some of Hollywood’s biggest names and the PR group could make sure that their other clients would never be available to the show. Do you think that ET and The Insider should show the video or are they right to have pulled them?
I personally think they should show it. I think that once you are a celebrity you have to be smart enough not to put yourself in these situations. It may not be right that their privacy is taken away after becoming stars, but that’s the career they chose and they know the consequences going in.

So, you are condemning these shows for not showing this video, while at the same time condemning these shows for showing similar videos in past situations?
Not quite sure what you are going for here, E. I will accept enlightenment, though…
Wow that question made my head hurt. LOL I’m not condemning them for the other videos. I’m just saying that if they don’t have a problem showing one, then why not show all of the videos they receive, regardless of the PR threats they get or the concerns of the family. They haven’t cared about what family members thought in the past, so why start now.
