Monday Night Metal 2-11
This edition of Monday Night Metal features some of my favorite bands from the 90’s. Check out videos from White Zombie, Megadeth and Biohazard.
First up is Megadeth. The album Countdown To Extinction was not their best album, but it was the one that helped them gain mainstream acceptance. They even got regular air play on MTV.
Megadeth - Symphony Of Destruction.
Biohazard was one of the first bands to mix hardcore with both metal and rap. They never reached the levels of success that they deserved or of some of the bands that came later. The bands biggest claim to fame may be that frontman Evan Seinfeld is married to porn star Tera Patrick and is now featured in many of her movies. The band is set to reunite for a tour and possible new album this year.
Biohazard - Tales From The Hardside
Before Rob Zombie was screwing up horror classics, he was lead singer of White Zombie. Although the band can thank Beavis and Butthead for their initial success, they managed to make themselves into a very good band. The band mixed heavy grooves with elaborate stage shows and theatrics that made their concerts a must see in the 90’s. This is a reunion I wouldn’t mind seeing happen.
