Tee hee hee … finally somebody told the truth – OUT LOUD –  in Hollywood.

The wonderful Hollywood Elsewhere pointed me to this article in Entertainment Weekly about the inexplicable career of Lindsay Lohan.

It’s hard to argue with bracing truths like this:

”Her career was over long before she had these troubles,” says the studio head. ”The media treat her like she’s Will Smith or Tom Cruise, like she’s some big star, but she simply isn’t.”

We here at The Rec despise this bitch completely, yet we have devoted lots of space to her … and so has everyone else. WHY? Well, we all love to mock trainwrecks, and she has been a ten-train accident. Even more than that, however, is the glee we receive from watching one of the superfluous starlets of Hollywood’s fame machine get stuck in the gears and ground into hamburger.

WE LOVE IT!!

These chicks have no talent and no regard for their position and responsibility in society. They don’t deserve our respect. They don’t deserve their privileges. And when someone as pointless and idiotic as Lindsay Lohan abuses that undeserved power, it is only karmic justice that she falls from grace.

As one studio insider aptly put it:

”She had the world at her feet,” says the head of a major studio. ”And right now, she’d have to pay a studio to get herself into a movie.”

Bummer.
