Love ya, Burbanked!

I LOVE IT!

The film, The Brothers Solomon, opens in a week among some, um, stiff competition. Instead of making a long, hard case for the film, I will just let its trailer work its magic on your sensitive parts:

I have heard little to nothing about this film, yet it looks like it has a solid cast and a nasty attitude. I am not such a snob that I turn my nose up at just any old sex comedy – after all, I have written two of the nastiest scripts I have ever read!! I just like them to make some sort of internal sense, follow basic screenplay rules, and have likable characters.

To prove I have the seasoned meat to hang with the well-hung devotees of slob comedies, I present to you some of my favorite comedies of all time:

Kingpin – How can you deny the absolute genius of this film? Not only is it structurally sound and complete with memorable characters and performances … it contains some of the most brilliant gross jokes of all time. Some faves:
