I agree, Andy, overall, is not funny in the least. SNL goes through periods (years) with a cast that leaves a lot to be desired. This being one of them. The show needs new writers and a new cast soon, or it’s going to see its demise.

Ha. This is pretty funny. The people were pre-warned that this was only going to be one note long.. and if you see the videos, i don’t think anyone was disappointed in the crowd. The White Stripes were trying to break a world record, and they did. Most of the people who were there probably had tickets for the proper gig that night.
And, to Jack White being a douchebag.. If you actually ever see any interviews with him, he’s pretty modest about everything. You cannot deny he is talented, and is a hell of a songwriter. In interviews, when people call him talented, he always looks embarrassed. He has a wonderful sense of humour, and has never sold out. Oh, and The White Stripes are one of the decades best bands and I’m so grateful that they’re bringing good music more into the mainstream.
