The Grammys are always a mess, usually getting it wrong and boring the fuck out of viewers everywhere. But the wise inclusion of Lady Gaga – the most important musical artist in several years – helped amp up the excitement just a little.
Not only did Gaga deservedly win a couple of awards, but she also put on a wild stage show with Elton John that stopped the show. Elton hasn’t been relevant in twenty five years, but tonight, he was the king. Check out the amazement:

Lady Gaga is not even in Beyonce’s league let alone in the leaugue of true legends like Sam Cooke, Buddy Holly, Bruce Springstein, Bob Dylan and Paul Simon. All she is is eurotrash – there is nothing remotely important about what she is doing,. Beyonce can sing, dance and write catchy pop songs – 3 things Gaga is incompetent at.
@ Justin – You’re insane if you actually think that Gaga is less talented than BEYONCE. Gaga has a very good voice. Gaga writes her own music, she doesn’t let others do it for her and then slap her name on it. And, most importantly, Gaga can sit at a piano and play it. The only purpose a piano would serve in Beyonce’s house would be for her Daddy to bend her over it and fuck her in the ass.
Just because you can play piano doesn’t make you a good pianist. It’s like someone being able to run a marathon – doesn’t necesarrily mean that they are any good at running, just that they are fit enough to compete the distance. If you think she is good on the piano then fair enough but just saying she plays the piano doesn’t really mean anything to me. I appreciate that you like Gaga but I think Beyonce is a far superior talent – Beyonce comes up with innovative and interesting dance moves, has a splendid vocals with great emotion (unlike a good singer with poor emotion, like say Leona Lewis) and she does write her songs – they might not be world class lyrics but then again neither is “ra ra ra ra ra ra ra raaaahhhhh” either. Gaga is odd for the sake of being odd – I’m not a fan but I can’t deny her mass popularity – good on her for becoming so succesful.
