There isn’t much commentary to add to Kanye West’s ignorant and undeniably racist action at last night’s MTV Video Music Award ceremony. The video says it all:

Upstaging Taylor Swift – a 19 year old girl who is earning her fame with some incredible songs – in order to promote your own ideas is shameful and disrespectful. As a “grown ass man,” Kanye should’ve known better than that. Of course, the man’s ego is boundless; he probably thought it was his RIGHT to get up out of his seat and leap onstage to humiliate her like that.
What it comes down to is racism. Kanye didn’t think a little white girl deserved the award over big-bootied Beyonce. In the past, Kanye has complained when white acts/artists have received awards over him.
Well guess what, Kanye? You looked like a dumb fucking nigger jumping onstage and humiliating YOURSELF like that. Back in the day, we woulda strung you up in an oak tree with a pitchfork up your ass for such a stupid stunt.
